New Address

]]> Due to month long complications from a leaky air conditioner, Heather and I are moving and thus have a new address. We are sad to be leaving our one bedroom apartment in University City/Central West End but are very excited about our new three bedroom in Tower Grove that costs roughly the same amount.

It is so much more than we could have asked for and we are excited about making it our home. I snapped these pictures when we signed the lease this past Saturday.

If you are free this Saturday (9/6/2008) and are able to help us move we would very much appreciate it. We will be meeting at the old apartment (6016 Waterman, Apt. 1E) at 10:00AM... If it helps to entice, Heather and I will provide beer and food. :)

Proof that it actually happened! Part 2

Ok, so all the pictures we have are up. If you didn�t receive an invitation to the wedding we apologize. The St. Louis Postal System apparently lost about an hundred invitations that were neither delivered nor returned. We did not discover this until just before and just after the wedding. Any way, the pictures in the previous post should let you share in the event as much as is now possible.

Proof That It Actually Happened!

Yes dear people some wedding pictures are in! Thanks to the photographer, friends and family who photographically documented this fantastic day we are now able to share the event with you. Fun Filled St. Louis Activities for Families, Adults & Children

Here are some great things to do in while in St. Louis!...

]]> Forest Park: A wonderful large park that is centrally located to all of the wedding activities. The park provides a great place to just run around or have a pick nick as well as numerous enjoyable and free activities for all ages. A few of the activities it offers are as follows:
� St. Louis Zoo: It's free, fun and close by� it also has penguins!
� St. Louis Science Center: Close to the zoo, the science center has an IMAX screen and tons of hands-on stuff, good especially for young children and adults who like to tear things up.
� St. Louis Art Museum: The Art Museum is in Forest Park, the same place as the zoo. It's one of the best in the country for its size, free, and one of Heather�s and my favorite places.
� Jefferson Memorial / Missouri Historical Society: Interesting and worth seeing
� The Muny: A wonderful outdoor theater that is featuring the play�Peter Pan.�
� The Boathouse: A great restaurant that is perfect for lunch. You can also rent paddle boats to float around the park. This is where Heather and I ate lunch on our first date.

Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tour: See how beer is made and drink free samples.

The Magic House St. Louis Children�s Museum: WONDEROUSLY FUN!

Missouri Botanical Garden: This is a fantastic place to see and is located south of the city near Heather�s house

City Museum: Great fun for all and definitely worth your time. A wonderful collection of things to see and play on, including an elevated outdoor jungle gym with an airplane cockpit at the top. A giant praying mantis statue and a fire engine. There is also great architecture, an old B&W photo booth and an indoor aquarium with sharks. Easy downtown location.

The Loop: This area is next to Lloyd�s house and one of our favorite places to be. It has our favorite coffee shop Meshuggah Cafe, book stores, music stores, a theater, and tons of places to eat and shop. The Loop is just north of the church and south of Lloyd�s house.

Central West End: Great sidewalk caf�s, pubs, galleries, antique shops, trendy boutiques and turn-of-the-century homes. This neighborhood is a great place to eat, relax and people-watch. The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis, which housing the world�s largest collection of mosaic art is located here. Also look for the family apartment of playwright Tennessee Williams, said to be the setting of his play The Glass Menagerie. The north end of the neighborhood is where the Mahler Ballroom (wedding reception sight) is located.

Ted Drewes: If you need to cool down, go to Ted Drewes (on Chippewa) for Midwest-famous frozen custard. Trust me, it�s fantastic!

Soulard Farmer's Market: If you're into farmers' markets, this is a pretty good one, and in a very cool part of town.

Cherokee Antique District: Just down the road from the Farmer's Market is the Cherokee Road District, full of eclectic antique shops. Some are junky, some are overpriced, some have just the right mixture of dust and polish.

Bass Pro Shops Sportsmen's Warehouse: No need to say any more cause you can�t improve on perfection!

St. Louis Union Station: Once the busiest train terminal in the world, St. Louis�s old train depot that has been restored and the train shed has been turned into shops. The hotel has been restored and reopened and offers a great place to have a drink or midday desert. Lloyd�s Great Grandfather Sparks was one of the architects who helped design it. It is located downtown west of the Arch.

Arch: A park and monument to westward expansion. The arch is worth a look and offers a neat view from the top. It is located downtown.

St. Louis Cardinals: World Championship Baseball!

Six Flags St. Louis: Fun, fun, fun!

Grace & Peace Fellowship: If you are interested in attending church on Sunday this is where we attend.
